What is a cookie?
Cookies help us understand how you use our website and how we can further improve it. We need your permission to be able to place specific cookies.
What types of cookies do we use?
Kiwa uses different types of cookies with different objectives on its websites:
- Necessary cookies: these session cookies or functional cookies are necessary for the website to work properly. For example, these cookies make sure that the information you enter into a contact form can actually be sent. Also, the Google Analytics basic cookie gives us a basic understanding of what happens on the website. Session cookies are checked by default. The website cookie will be automatically removed as soon as you close your web browser. We store the necessary cookies for 30 days.
- Analytical cookies: we use Google Analytics, Visual Website Optimizer and Hotjar cookies. These cookies help us understand how you use the website. For this purpose, we collect data that we analyse. We use this data to further improve our websites. We store the analytical cookies for one year.
- Marketing cookies: through these cookies we can tailor advertisements and information to your interests. Marketing cookies are also used for interaction with social media. We store the marketing cookies for one year.
